First the electronic:
I track my food with LoseIt . This easy to use smartphone app - very helpful!
When I go out for a walk or a bike ride I use MapMyFitness - another smartphone app. This one has a lot of great features. It has GPS and will record the route, tell me my pace and keep a log of all my "runs" (not quite there but my pace it getting better). I can also log on a workout if I go to the gym or go for a swim.
